OUR STRATEGIC FUNDRAISING PLAN
In order to ensure that the crucial work of the CRC/Children’s Movement can continue and grow, we embarked on a phase of consolidation and strategic planning out of which has developed a Strategic Fundraising Plan (SPF). Implementation of this plan will enable us to:
- Raise funds for all aspects of our work, including the Children’s Resource Centre, the Children’s Movement, the Girl Child Movement, and our Youth Section, as well as a range of other programmes, projects and campaigns.
- Work purposefully towards long-term sustainability.
To make this happen, we know that we need to keep in mind a number of key fundamentals. These include:
- Remaining true to our vision
- Continuing to build our skills in the area of human resources development (knowledge, skills and experience)
- Strengthening our organisational structure at both national and international level
- Devising new strategies and expanding our material resources (buildings, money)
Our plan also acknowledges the need to:
- Sustain and extend the work of the social movement.
- Systematically work towards becoming self-reliant.
- Consolidate our achievements of the past five years.
