We have started a study group 2008 /03/26
We came up with this Idea because we felt that we need to do things on our own, looking at the education crisis some of the teachers are not well informed how to teach the learners so we thought helping each other will be more useful than standing around judging teachers. Through the topics we always debate about in our group we realized that we really need to look at this problem. We then took it to school that is were we are now.
We have members in different grades: 1 member from grade 12, 6 grade 10, and 10 grade 9.most of the time during the course of the year we have some tests we have to write so the others help us to study and most of the time the grade 12 leaner almost knows every thing we go through.   
When we do the movement awareness programmes we always include the importance of having a study group.
Some of the challenges that we face are boys are always lazy when it comes to group discussions and we don't have the professional person who can guide us in terms of step by step in math's, physics, accounting, economics.
We are really improving. We believe that children can really help themselves.
