 In the environment programme the children’s groups clean the communities where they stay and the schools clean the school grounds. We also have outings whereby our members go out and clean the beach. Gardening, Tree-Planting, taking care of animals in the community also form part of the Environment programme. The environment is aimed at raising awareness about the need to take care of the environment; and implementing a practical programme of action whereby the members become actively involved in taking care of the environment – the mountains, the water around us, the plants, insects and the animals.
